Oh dear I have made this a little too easy... although there still is the question of which one would have the pure audacity to do such a thing.

The google reference was merely a helpful pointer but this technophobe has seen the new media giant in a new light. It's also quite a nice change to not have to ransack my home to afford useful gadgets.

Is google attempting to break the widely-held view that'nothing in life is free'?

As for our friend, Andrew Gilligan, it is right that you did not accuse him but it was more fun to assume that you did.

Is google attempting to break the widely-held view that’nothing in life is free’?

Well RW, your last point could only come from someone in class yesterday afternoon... which rather limits the forensic search!

I'm not on Google payroll, but I am a big fan of "free."

And my earlier post doesn't prove that it was AG, but it is a useful example of how much information floats around the internet.

I would think that the editing on Murdoch's wikipedia page on society's acceptable age gap comes in second for embarassing stories on the media mogul.

Tycoons often take the premise of 'the end justifies the means' a little too far.

I'm surprised he hasn't charged his dear ole mum to buy his titles too.

Just a quick query on the anonymouty issue in yesterday's blog, I'm sure Gilligan has a backbone, even if he's a regular at the Standard, to reveal his identity.

There are many prepared to climb the greasy pole of journalism and I have no doubt that this may be the scenario here - it could perhaps be one of his underlings at the Associated Press, who does the night shift or is fresh blood in the business.

What new graduates do you know that are tucked up at 9pm?

Just thought I'd deal this hand into your conspiracy game.

I also took the liberty of giving no identity - let's see how long you can track down me.

A little question for you - are you employed to endorse google products?

Tycoons often take the premise of ‘the end justifies the means’ a little too far.

I’m surprised he hasn’t charged his dear ole mum to buy his titles too.

Just a quick query on the anonymouty issue in yesterday’s blog, I’m sure Gilligan has a backbone, even if he’s a regular at the Standard, to reveal his identity.

There are many prepared to climb the greasy pole of journalism and I have no doubt that this may be the scenario here — it could perhaps be one of his underlings at the Associated Press, who does the night shift or is fresh blood in the business.

What new graduates do you know that are tucked up at 9pm?

Just thought I’d deal this hand into your conspiracy game.

I also took the liberty of giving no identity — let’s see how long you can track down me.

A little question for you — are you employed to endorse google products?
