BAGHDAD, Iraq–One hun­dred mil­lion U.S. dol­lars, and almost 90 mil­lion Euro’s, have been recovered from Bagh­dad in the area secured by the 4/64 Armour, 2nd Bde, 3rd Infantry Divi­sion. Accord­ing to 3rd ID Prov­ost Mar­shal, the funds were dis­covered between April 23 and 26. The unit found a total of 31 con­tain­ers, which were flown from Bagh­dad Inter­na­tional Air­port on Sunday, 27 April, under secur­ity escort of mem­bers of a fin­ance unit, Mil­it­ary Police, and Crim­inal Invest­ig­a­tions Division.
