Student feedback is what keeps us educationalists going. Here’s a little from one course blog on the ‘Dow Jones Defence’ panel that we ran on Monday – the first time the journalists who broke the Jameel story had come together to discuss it publicly.
I’ll keep it short: I thought the Jameel panel today was one of the most inspiring things I have seen so far on this course. Not only was it fantastic to see journalists who are actually providing a public service and acting with integrity (I think getting a green card seems to be the way forward), but it was wonderful to see a female news editor, and not only that, but a young and ostensibly normal woman in a position of power. Hurrah.
