This blog will not be joining the boycott of Israel along with the trades unions of British journalists and academics. It does want peace in the Middle East and goodwill to humanity in general. It recognises that terrorists can go on to be successful politicians (Martin McGuinness, Yitzhak Shamir etc.). But not if they blow themselves up. And it knows that the British have a fine reputation for sorting out the world’s problems.
