Fox News would doubtless argue that “celebrating heterosexuality” and casting a prurient eye over sex videos were in complete accord with its conservative values.

What Greenwald’s work really demonstrates is how effective Fox News has been in reformatting rolling news into entertainment talk.

And in its niche, sex and conservatism sell, and if the audience can live with the contradictions, you bet the channel can.
