Dutch culture minister <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Ronald_Plasterk\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>Ronald Plasterk<\/strong><\/a> doesn&#8217;t think so. <\/p>\n<p>He wants to limit the cash handed over to presenters on state television. According to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.hollywoodreporter.com\/hr\/content_display\/world\/news\/e3i17cfb9d2f397c8cb231f4706e7a57499\" target=\"_blank\"><em><strong>Hollywood Reporter<\/strong><\/em><\/a>, Plasterk believes: <!--more--><\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\nthe maximum fee should be no more than \u20ac200k (\u00a3158k) a year. Currently an annual salary of \u20ac400k &#8211; \u20ac500k (\u00a3316k &#8211; \u00a3396k) is paid to some of the better-known presenters, sports commentators and show hosts.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Dutch talent (<a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Rhine\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>Matthijs van Nieuwkerk<\/strong><\/a>, anyone?) could just migrate, of course&#8230;and they&#8217;ll never get <strong>Jonathan Ross<\/strong> with that kind of money.
