He was making <strong><em><a href=\"http:\/\/movies.nytimes.com\/movie\/55722\/World-War-II-Collection-The-Year-of-the-Generals\/credits\" target=\"_self\">Year of the Generals<\/a><\/em><\/strong>, a documentary about WW2 for <strong>CBS<\/strong>. He was in the London bureau working late, as was I, and we struck up a conversation about the project.<!--more-->\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>What part it brought him to London? Well, his researcher had lined up a meeting with a famous British historian, author of <em>Hitler&#8217;s War<\/em> and the <em>War Between The Generals<\/em>, among others. A guy name <strong>David Irving<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Surely CBS would not be jumping into bed with Hitler-lovin&#8217;, Holocaust-denyin&#8217; historian <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/David_Irving\">David Irving<\/a>, I ventured? <\/p>\n<p>Mr Lack made his excuses and left. <\/p>\n<p>Mr Irving didn&#8217;t have his &#8216;<a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Springtime_for_Hitler\">Springtime for Hitler<\/a>&#8216; moment. <\/p>\n<p>My MSM liberal censoring work was done!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>How do liberals conspire to keep dissenting voices off mainstream media?
