Actually, watch it. There is nothing funny about it. But funny is not the point.<\/p>\n<p>Essentially, it&#8217;s about the setting &#8211; a feelgood diner, with happy Americans (voters) and a side order of Senator. Hillary and Bill go through some awkward, rather wooden dialogue. A <span style=\"font-weight:bold;\"><span style=\"font-style:italic;\">Sopranos<\/span><\/span> character lurks in the background. <span style=\"font-weight:bold;\">Tony Blair<\/span>, by the way, does it all rather better in the charity spoof below.<\/p>\n<p>There&#8217;s an interesting parallel in the austere Hillary, currently being defrosted for presidential consumption, and the austere <span style=\"font-weight:bold;\">Gordon Brown<\/span>, who has undergone a less televisual version of the same process.<br \/><object width=\"4<br \/>25&#8243; height=&#8221;350&#8243;><param name=\"movie\" value=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/v\/a-0-q7Oo0x0\"><\/param><param name=\"wmode\" value=\"transparent\"><\/param><embed src=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/v\/a-0-q7Oo0x0\" type=\"application\/x-shockwave-flash\" wmode=\"transparent\" width=\"425\" height=\"350\"><\/embed><\/object><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The new face of political campaigning.
