It\u2019s called <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/thedavosquestion\">the Davos Question<\/a>, after the name of the <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.davos.ch\/winter-001-00-en.htm\">Swiss ski resort<\/a> where Forum members meet every January.<\/p>\n<p>You can put up an answer and they will be posting some of the responses <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.davosconversation.org\/\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Yes, it is tempting to say \u201creplace big international meetings with video conferences,\u201d but that will have to wait for when we\u2019re virtual, not social beings.<\/p>\n<p>And I\u2019ll have to put cynicism aside because (<span style=\"font-style: italic;\">disclosure<\/span>) I\u2019m heading to Davos next month.<\/p>\n<p>Ask yourself this, though &#8211; when the WEF is soliciting your views to address the big questions &#8211; why isn\u2019t your government?<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>\u201cWhat one thing do you think that countries, companies or individuals must do to make the world a better place in 2008?\u201d That is the question being asked on YouTube by the organisers of the World Economic Forum.
