So it’s a change of design (goodbye American Typewriter) and farewell to Blogger (much loved). I’m slowly updating the blogroll so if you haven’t appeared yet, then yes, it is just me being slow.

Also there may be some problems with screen res (Crappy screen resolution! Another great reason to subscribe via RSS!).

In the midst of relaunching I went to hear US phenomenon Liz Strauss talking blogs at City’s Cass Business School. She runs successful-blog.com. The name itself exudes the kind of confidence with strangers lacking in the British blogosphere – or reti-sphere if you prefer.

Liz provided a welcome reminder of how much fun blogging can be, and of its social purpose (in my case – not having to talk to the person next to you on the train. Hmmm, maybe that doesn’t count).

Thanks to Liz I finally embraced Twitter having failed to “get it” for a while. I now think of it as a cross-platform Facebook widget (I know…). And in case you’re thinking of following me, I’ll be using Twitter to log my hayfever symptoms this summer…
